I have been doing fitness pal for a couple weeks and have been doing Jazzercise for at least 4 to 5 times a week for the last 2 weeks and have only lost 1 pound. I don't always use all of my extra calories that I get from exercising. I am wondering if anyone else has these issues or any suggestions?

Sometimes the caloires burnt are overstated on this site. I try to only eat back about half to be safe.

What's your goal on mfp? if its .5 lbs/week then you are right on target. If it's 1 lb, then you're still ok. a lot of things can affect your weight when you weigh in. For example, if you weighed right after a meal this time (but not the first time) you would obviously weigh more due to the weight of the actual food being in your stomach. Also, a bottle of water weighs a pound. And while water will not cause you to gain any weight in the long run, it will add a pound until you can pee it out.

Bottom line, your weight can fluctuate several pounds up and down on a normal day, and even a normal week. So don't worry about not seeing the scale move a lot yet, the long run average is what matters. <<<<< Just my thoughts.
