Just wondering some food ideas for breakfast..I feel like I'm eating the same thing every morning. Sometimes I'll have an egg sandwhich, oatmeal or cereal..is there any others that I could do for a variety? Please help!

I like Thomas Hearty Grains Bagels with some 1/3 less fat strawberry cream cheese or I have a wake- up shake.
Wake-Up Shake:
1/4 cup orange juice
1 banana
1/2 cup frozen berries
1 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
Makes 2 servings. Listed in food database as Betty Crocker - Wake-Up Shake if you want to see the nutritional info.
Adding variety to breakfast as helped me. I used to only eat egg beaters w/tomato, Tyson's seasoned steak and cheese. I got sick of that really fast and the thought of eating it now makes me sick. Variety is truly the spice of life!0 -
Try a breakfast smoothie, or maybe instead of a egg sandwich try doing a an omelette with veges.0

What about a breakfast burrito? I use smart & delicious tortilla from la tortilla company. They have 50 calories each and they're good sized. I stuff them with 1 egg, 2 strips of turkey bacon, some cheese and salsa and they are quite yummy.0

Sometimes for variety I'll have peanut butter and jelly on a toasted deli flat. It's about the same cals as the egg sandwich and adds a little sweetness to my morning.0

I take a whole wheat english muffin, low fat cheese and morningstar sausage patty. takes about 2 minutes in the microwave and I'm out the door! My other staple is oatmeal with a scoop of vanilla protein powder.0

I love omelettes. Maybe with a slice of toast on the side.
Also love yogurt parfaits with fresh sliced fruit and crunchy cereal for texture.0 -
I do french toast with egg whites and low cal whole wheat bread (light style wheat pepperedge farms) and fry with cooking spray
I drizzle honey

I pretty much have two things I eat for breakfast - both are yummy!!!
If I am trying to keep carbs to a lower level, I eat a breakfast wrap that consists of
1 flat out light original wrap - 90 cals (and lots of fiber)
2 egg whites cooked - 36 cals
1 slice of fat free cheese - 25 cals
Jennie O turkey sausage - 65 cals
All said and done = 216 calories and very filling
If I am doing a heavy workout and need extra carbs I eat
1/2 cup steel cut oatmeal - 150 cals
1 tablespoon natural pb - 100 cals
All said and done = 250 calories0 -
I use the body for life receipes. They have a plethura of meal ideas for breakfast, lunch and dinner.0
