Carbs and Protein.........

Okay I know I see a lot of posts regarding carbs and protein, but have not found one yet to answer my specific question. I am good with my weight, but want to lean out, and have my muscles become more defined. To do that I know I need to increase my protein and lower my carbs! Okay so here is my question. For those of you that have had success with leaning out what did you set your carbs and protein per day to? Right now i am aim for at least 100gr protein, but am so confused on the carbs! I have researched online to the point that I feel like banging my head against the wall, each site gives a different answer.

Info on me! I am 31 years old, 5'1, and weight 124. Also know that I will not give up my fruit, mainly my strawberries. Yes I know they have carbs but I believe the benefits from the berries outweighs the dreaded fear of carbs. Thank you!

Leaning out is a function of low body fat and hood muscle mass. You can lean out on any sort of diet if you lift and get enough protein so work around you protein requirement, about 100 to 130 grams per day and split the rest of your calories any way you want.

That's what I was doing, but lately my stomach just isn't as defined as it usually is and the only thing I can think of is that I have increased my carbs daily.
