Need Ideas Please help

I am in need of some ideas for exercise that do not require jumping or running I shattered my foot last April and I have finally been released for everything but that as they want a full year before X-raying again to make sure it has held well I am usually very active power walking, Horse back riding gardening ect but I can not do the 1st 2 any ideas Maybe weights Please help

    Why "maybe weights"? Just do it.

    Google StrongLifts 5x5 or pick up a copy of Starting Strength and start lifting.
    Compound lifts, such as squats, deadlifts and presses with progressively heavier weight.

    Lift - try Strong Lifts 5*5 or New Rules of Lifting for Women. I've never sued NROLFW, but have heard good things. SL 5*5 starts easy/low weights - but let me tell you - it gets hard (and I've been lifting for about a decade - that's long when you're 26).

    Cardio - bicycle, elliptical, swim

    BOOM - done
