I have read hundreds of success stories and some thing that I notice that very few people put on their success stories is how much they ate to lose the weight?

How much did you eat at the beginning and now?
What was your starting weight? and Weight Now?
Did you follow a special diet plan?

When I began this journey July of last year I was 284 lbs. at that point in life I was eating everything in sight and ate out all the time. I found myfitnesspal and thought I should add up and see what I was doing a day for food and I was i shock to see I was eating over 4000 in calories a day and wearing a size 24 and they were TIGHT.
I began to watch my intake and I currently am 41 lbs lighter and wearing a size 20 which is begining to get big on me. I am taking in 1370 in calories a day and making sure I drink my eight glasses of water. I am learning portion control so that way I can eat the foods I love but in moderation. On this journey I have had alot of things happen in my life that has caused me to loose sight of my goal however, didnt gain anything back just didnt loose any. Once I started focusing again I am dropping inches and pounds.

I was eating a TON before I started, but not sure exactly how much. I had about 38 extra pounds of baby weight I had been carrying around for over two years.

    Starting weight was 174
current weight is 140 (up from 138, but I am pregnant again, so you can say my final weight after losing was 138,lol)

At first I set my calories to 1570 and ate every single workout calorie I burned. When I hit a plateau almost 30 pounds in I decreased cardio, increased weights and upped my calories to 2100 every day, no matter what my workout. I quickly broke the plateau and started losing again, then got pregnant. Luckily, I was basically at goal!

No special diet plan per say. I do eat almost all organic and I suppose most people would consider my diet very "clean". I did not do that for weight loss, but for my health. I am sure it helped though!
