Freaking out a little!

I have been pretty diligent about exercising each day. Today I am sore and was going to have an off day. I went to an event this morning and splurged a little!
Think I should just walk a bit tonight or what?

If it was me I'd just relax and enjoy your day off0

When you say 'a little' is that honesty with yourself? I wouldn't worry about one day of binging/being over your daily calories. You know how to not let it become a daily habit.0

It's just one day, if you feel like walking go for it, otherwise just jump back on the wagon tomorrow. Everyone has off days, don't sweat it0

relax you get an after burn today from yesterday, enjoy the day,,,,,dont stress your muscle too much.0

Let your body rest. Rest days are important. Working out and tearing the body down is not what makes it stronger. Resting and letting it repair itself is what makes you stronger. It is necessary. How much are you going to be over for today? If it's a small amount then leave a small amount of uneaten cals over the next few days to even it back out. Going by your weekly average works and in my opinion makes things less stressful.0

I would walk unless that is what you are sore from. I come home, short on calories, don't feel like exercising - just blah. But, if I get in front of the TV and Walk 2 or 3 miles ( I use the WATP videos) I feel so much better both physically and mentally. You never know what tomorrow might bring so I try everyday to get some exercise it.0

I would go for a walk--maybe just a short one--and do some stretching.
The walking will probably help with the soreness (as will the stretching) and might make you feel a little better about the splurge.0 -
