BEGINNER--I NEED HELP!!!

I just started my diet on Monday, and went to the gym for the first time in 5 years yesterday. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill josgging 2 minutes out of every 10. And used bench press and inclined chest press machines 5 sets of 12 at 40lbs. Im a 28 yr old guy who has the energy to make this happen and excercise everyday, but honestly just have not. Id appreciate some advice on workout plans for 5 days a week that include cardio and strengnth. I cant afford a trainer, so if you can help, id appreciate it so much.

    Bodybuilding.com has some good plans to follow. There are some good beginner programs on there as well.

    StrongLifts 5x5
    Starting Strength (various forms)

    Both are good beginning strength programs. Pick one. Do about 1/2 hour of cardio - your choice - on your off days.
