Resetting starting weight

I have been tracking my starting weight at my highest weight from over two years ago now, 251. I have had some yoyo weights since that time, and am i a bit of an upswing now at around 215. My goal is to to hit 195, and then stabilize below 200.
I think it is best at this point to reset my staritng weight at my current weight and track progress toward this new goal. Is there a way to do so without losing the history in MFP? I mean, I see that I could delete the weigh-ins prior to today, but I would rather not. Advice? Ideas?
