Looking for friends who will not be posting stuff like , "making chocolate muffins for dinner" etc.. Everyone is different so please don't be one of those people that scolds because we don't do things the same way. I am not emo and prone to freaking out if the scale is higher this week or I fell off the wagon but I also don't think it is cool to fall off the wagon and roll around in the bbq sauce if you know what I mean. I want some friends who are down to earth, know their stuff, and don't bring drama to the party. I'm happy to offer advice and take helpful advice.
Background:
I'm 35, 5'6, 160 lbs., married with a 12 yo daughter. I'm originally from No. VA (Fairfax County) now living in So, CA (Riverside County). My husband and I both work from home. When we moved to CA we had no friends and family here and since we worked from home we just got fat not going out and doing anything. In 2011 we went to a family reunion where everyone couldn't help but comment on how big we'd gotten. So we decided it was time to lose it! At that point I was 198 lbs. and decided I didn't want to see 200. We got a trainer and each lost 30 lbs. We stopped using the trainer because we thought we could do it ourselves but as it turned out we couldn't. So I'm starting again...
What I need help with:
I was diagnosed with a seizure disorder when I was 16, as a result I take medicine that tends to make me tired and sleepy. I'm pretty used to it but it makes it hard to get motivated to start exercising each day. I am a dog groomer and I work out of my house so I pretty much sit all day even if I am arm wrestling dogs most of it. I do all the cooking in my house so sometimes when I'm really tired it's hard to want to make anything much less anything healthy, tendency towards ordering out wants to take over. My husband works from home but goes out of town 1 or 2 weeks a month, I usually do pretty well while he is gone but less so when he is home because we want to spend more time together (not exercising). I have been 160 lbs for 8 months now, 3 months have been really trying to workout and diet.
What I am currently doing for my weight loss:
I have a trainer I see twice a week mostly for strength training. I use the body media armband to monitor my calories out and MFP to monitor calories in. I use a Scosche HR monitor with Digifit during cardio to make sure I'm working hard enough. I do Insanity 6 days a week with my husband and 30mins on a cardio machine 6 days a week (mostly in case the hubby bails on Insanity). I own a stationary bike, treadmill, elliptical, treadclimber and total gym. (And now you're thinking how can I not be skinny right?, just because you have own vase doesn't mean you grow flowers to put in it) I do Yoga at the gym 3-4 times a week. I have also tried that medical weight loss clinic where you get Lipo-B shots and B12 and a bunch of pills. I have tried Sensa, Alli, Hydroxycut (and others like) also tried using the Gruve and UP. I am currently trying a green tea supplement and a B12 tablet.
Goals: Aiming for 130 lbs. but not really worried about the number just want to look good in a bikini, and not have anything sagging off, when that happens I'll stop regardless of number.

Welcome! I'm also 35 and am currently around 180 lb, highest weight was over 220 lb. I've got two teenage girls (17 and 14) and work outside the home as a triage nurse (via telephone), so I'm also sitting down quite a bit. I'm aiming for 140, but you're welcome to add me and I keep my food log public. Maybe it will help with some dinner ideas? I do a lot of crockpot cooking to make life easier!0
