Weigh In's

This is my first week using MFP and I wanted to know when people like to weigh themselves (either by using the weigh in function on this site or on a real scale or both). Thanks.

Makes no difference. It's a personal choice issue. I weigh in Friday mornings

Once a week for me is 'official' weigh-in. But I sneak a peak once in a while. Just don't concern yourself too mch with the numbers on the scale. Take measurements and pictures. Often those change more than tge numbers on the scale. It may help with motivation. Good luck!!
Oh and try to weigh yourself at the same time of day (eg first thing in the morning). Weight can fluctuate a lot throughout the course of the day

I weigh myself once a week -- usually Friday or Saturday morning. Measure yourself. I've lost inches.

I weigh every day, it's just part of the morning routine. But don't log it every day: only if there is a bit of a change in the down direction that I am happy about will I do the check-in.

Everytime I walk by the scale. I might have lost something, just checking to be sure.

Yup me too, get out of bed, relieve myself, step on the scale. That way I have similar conditions each time. It has helped me learn how changes in day to day activity and diet can be reflected on the scale. I don't log it every time but I like to keep it in mind.
