Has anyone else lost a significant amount of weight and had weight loss stall? I have gone form 230 to 151. The problem is, I have been 145-152 for several months. I workout 5-6 days a week doing weight training and cardio. I could use some advice, motivation or maybe just some friends in the same boat to follow and try to keep up with.

Edited to say my final goal is 135, so I am getting very close.

Sounds totally familiar! I think I stalled out at just about that same weight. What got the scale moving again - my trainer completely changed my training program, started doing speedwork and plyometrics, started running longer distances and training for half marathons.
I hit 135 over the summer, but I've been back up fluctuating 138-140. Trying to get back down to 135, but it's a real struggle.

Thanks. I think I did the opposite as you. I quit training for a half marathon and started doing kickboxing. I live in MN and can't stand running on a treadmill, so I decided to switch to indoor exercises for the winter. Maybe I will start losing again in the spring when I can run outdoors again.

Yep. I've been on a 6-7 month long plateau. I've got 20 lbs to go before I hit my "goal" and then re-evaluate. Everyone I've spoke to has suggested to really switch up my workout routine. I've backed off the cardio a little bit and added a lot more full-body exercises and strength training.

Have you started tweaking your diet? I have diabetes and PCOS. Upping the protein and lessening the carbs is certainly helping. Good luck!

Same here. Lost 45 lbs. pretty easy but once I got to 140 I stalled. It feels like I keep gaining and losing the same 2-3 lbs. I keep trying different things - more exercise, change macros, up my calories, but I'm not having much success.

Same here I have lost 53 pounds currently at 157 my goal is 140 and the last 5 months I seem to lose maybe 2 pounds a month. I only have 17 left but it is crazy ow hard it is to get off. I have upped my workout and changed the classes I take which seems to help as lost 1.6 this week. When I was 157 12 years ago i was in a 12 tightly now I am in a 10 so I must be toning which stalls the scale...are you tracking measurements? That is the best way to judge!!

What is magic about the number 135? I say that you should just try eating at maintenance at least for a while. If you want to lose more after a few month of maintaining, then try actively reducing.

Good luck, and relax. You've done the hard stuff.:flowerforyou:
