So how many people are out there using this site so far?
Come on, introduce yourself and let us know what you're doing here. I'll start...
My name is Danielle, in Dublin, CA. I found this site through nutridiary.com, which is a good site but too slow and a bit too complicated. I'm training to be a personal trainer right now and am looking for a good tool to recommend to clients. I'm also a test case for myself, looking to lose 15 pounds.
What about the rest of you?

I log in to this site most weekdays. I like to log what I ate the evening before and all day long before I leave work. It's very easy once you've identified the food you eat most often. I've become more consciencious about the foods I eat. I've also learned which items are more caloric and which of those to avoid, for example at breakfast a bowl of cornflakes with fruit and lowfat milk is way more calories than a fruit-flavored instant oatmeal.
I must admit that I sometimes cheat. You know when you just don't want to write down what you've really had to eat? Like on weekends...
Recently my doctor told me to watch my cholesterol. This website has made me look at food labels more often which, in turn, helps me watch my cholesterol intake. I've started working out at the gym. That helps with lowering my cholesterol and weight too.

Hi Jackie - what a great message! I totally know what you mean about 40 years of tomorrows. Why is it so easy to put something off until tomorrow, and so hard to start something today? I was having a hard day today (I'm a bit of a sweettooth as you can tell from my name) but your message has made me determined to keep going and do it today, not tomorrow!
I've been using the site for about 2 weeks so far, and the good news is that I've lost 5 pounds which I'm excited about. I guess this is a little faster than what you are supposed to lose (about 2 lbs/week?) - but I'm not complaining. I just hope I can keep it up.
Best of luck to you and to everyone! Check in with us periodically and let us know how it's going!0 -
I'm new here as of today. My name is Deb. Any tips for what you all find helpful on this site? I'm looking for people to hold me accountable--I'm trying to be realistic about losing .5 lbs per week. But, I expect to gain some muscle so I'm not sure that I will lose much. My most important goal is to feel toned! Good luck to everyone and please send tips out here to new users. Thanks!0
