if you have a pale complexion, i would highly suggest staying away from permanent eyebrows. it looks pretty gross. also, i really like permanent eyeliner, but only on the top lid.

There's an older lady I see everyday at the pool who has permanent make-up. I wouldn't recommend it. She has an adorable frog tattoo on her forearm, though. If you want to get ink, I say tat, not make-up.

Trends change but permanent make-up is....well.....not attractive as we age.

A friend of mine who is a tattoo artist has her eyebrows tattooed on and I didn't even know until she told me. When I worked at her shop in Alaska an older woman came in to get hers touched up and again, I had no idea they weren't real. I guess I don't stand close enough to people to really tell.
It also depends on where you get it done. Make sure you can see pictures of other work they have done because you don't want it done poorly.

well they dont just tattoo the eyebrows anymore. not as you say with the old ladies that have the big blue stripes...

they now just tattoo hairlines in between your eyebrows, so they look fuller.
