Can't afford the gym

Hi I'm Christina!
I can't afford a gym membership, but I want to meet my fitness goals.
In the past, I have tried working out using fitness videos, but found it frustrating as I felt the workouts were hard for me to follow. Several years back my apartment complex included a gym, and I enjoyed using the ellipical machine and weight training.
I thought of just taking long walks, but I live in Los Angeles and the terrain is mostly flat. From my understanding you don't lose many calories just by walking on a flat terrain.
Any ideas on what I can do at home to exercise?

Walking is one of the best excercises for calorie burn.
You need to start at an hour really 30mins one way 30mins the other should burn you a whole lot of calories.0
