Hey there! Lately I've been interested in picking up a protein mix to aid in my diet for weight lifting and weight loss. Today a lady at my work was demo'ing out the plant based Vega products, including pre-workout and immediate post-workout powders. Which types of protein powder do you recommend and why? Thank you!

I suppose that choosing protein powder is a pretty tricky thing as the variety is so huge! I once checked section of protein powders in 'Holland&Barett' and oh boy! Honestly? If I needed to buy a protein powder, I would be completely lost. And prices are very different as well. I don't need to choose a protein powder because I really trust 'Nutrilite' and once I was recommended to take extra proteins, I turned to 'All plants protein'. And don't know whether it's best or not - it's really up to everyone - but I'm really happy about it. It doesn't contain any GMOs or sweeteners. It also contains amino acids along with proteins. I really like the taste. It's kinda neutral but at the same time there's some kind of different taste which still does allow to enjoy the meal. I'm not sure about the price in your country but in some countries it might be pretty high. Anyway, in general I think that price doesn't have to be an issue when it comes about your health and well-being. I don't say that only expensive products are good. I just say that you have to search that's the best for you and once you find it, ignore the price. I hope that helps.0

I thought Vega was too sweet for me... it was really gross. I wish it was so sweet because I like it's nutritional content.
I have to stick to plant protein since I'm allergic to Whey and Soy0
