40/30/30 - having trouble getting in calories

I'm following a 40/30/30 ratio of protein/fat/carbs. Before MFP, i just started to watched my carbs at home - but now I'm trying to stick to the 40/30/30... but some days I struggle to get my calories in and stay within my carbs/fat. Looking for users who follow this and get an idea of what foods you eat to meet your calorie goal - while maintaining the other two also.

    My diary is open, I usually manage it, I'm not the cleanest eater though, I follow the IIFYM principle :drinker:

    My goals currently 50/20/30 but I did have the 40/30/30 for a while
    Eggs for breakfast
    almonds as a snack, almond milk
    celery sticks with a little peanut butter
    might help?
