Hey there, I began using MFP a few years ago and then stopped like every other time I tried to lose weight. I reached turning point in my life and have finally begun to uncover the hidden secrets to my weight problem. With hard work and lots of support I have embarked on a new journey. The MFP app on the iphone is crucial to my success. I love that I can access the site through my phone and laptop! I am a recipe creating fool! I just love it. As of yesterday, I started a 5 week weight loss challenge with some friends and we have put a cash prize on the line (you know, for new clothes..lol). I am super excited and have revealed my true weight to 4-5 people (something I have NEVER done, 180 btw, and I am only 4'11"). If I do what I set out to do in this challenge, I will weigh less than my license weight! That weight has been there since I got my license at 16 (and I am pretty sure I lied about it there too) and I am currently 36. This is a pretty big deal and I cannot wait! I am the only actual 'overweight' person in the challenge so I am hoping to kick some little buns! Anyway, that's my story. I hope everyone else is having a great day and continued to success to you all!!!

  • Just like you, I was using MFP a few years ago and I lost about 20lbs the first time, but after I weighed myself this morning, I decided that it was time to get back on again. Please feel free to add me! We got this!

I started January 2012 and lost 25 lbs. Stopped in July when I went on vacation and never got back on track, which resulted in a
13 lb. gain. I just started back in January 2013 and have lost about 5-7lbs. Please feel free to add me.

Feel free to add me. I have struggled with weight since having my kids. I'm a shorty too at 5'1". :) I lost all the weight in '05 on weight watchers (down to a size 4) and then gained it all back gradually because I stopped the program. So I am here at MFP and between this site and the Skinny Taste website, it has changed my entire outlook on health. I am cooking delicious meals and starting to lose the weight. Welcome!
