How much water weight is expected via the TDEE method

So far I have gained albs when switching from the 1200 calories+1/2 exercise calories (for 2.5 months) to TDEE-20%. I was on my last 11 pounds (now 13) and I have gained 3-4 pounds back..but I have been staying under my TDEE (Above my BMR) and hitting my macros. I have been on this method for almost a month now.
I am thinking this is waster weight...how much more am I going to gain and when will it subside?

I'm trying to figure this same thing out. The TDEE and BMR stuff confuses me...0

there is no way to know. when you drink liquids, the water is either used for ongoing metabolic processes or flushed out as urine/sweat or some combination of both. i don't know of any way to quantify how much excess water is in you at any given time. if you are really worried about accurate readings on your scale, try weighing in identical conditions each time, and perhaps make sure to go low sodium for a day or two before your weigh in to minimize retention. i wouldn't suggest dehydration unless you are weighing in for a prize fight and you have to be at a certain weight at a specific time, after which you can then re-hydrate.0
