knee joint pain

after doing a week of the 30 day shred and moving onto step 2 - my knee is killing me! i don't want to stop but, yesterday i pushed and done my workout and after my knee felt great! today however, went to do the workout and couldn't even do the very basic of cardio...

does anyone have any suggestions on what i could do to help with the knee pain? should i stop and wait until the knee is fully healed.
