Hey everyone,
I have done 2 days of P90X along with other workouts. My week consists of working out 6 days a week with a mixture of Kettle bell class, pole dancing fitness, running, and P90X. I am no longer sore which concerned me but according to some sites soreness does not equal a good workout. I have continued to see progress so I am not complaining. I am just wondering if others are also experiencing this? Do you still get sore from your workouts? I know people are going to say to switch it up, but for me no two weeks are the same every day has been different. Thanks for your input

IMO, if it's not hard, you're not pushing enough. But that's just me.0

what you've heard is correct. being sore is not an indication of if you had a good workout or not. continue pushing yourself and as long as you're seeing progress, you're doing well. personally i hate being sore after workouts and if i could avoid i would.
YAY DOMS........no. just no0 -

I've heard the same (soreness does not = effective), but logically that's hard for me to accept.
Regardless, I think progress is the best judge of effectiveness there is. You're seeing results, so I'd keep doing what you are doing. If you are making an honest effort, giving your workouts everything you've got, and seeing results, I wouldn't worry about the rest.0 -

This. Muscle growth comes from the fibers tearing, then healing together so they are stronger. If you aren't getting the micro-tears (soreness) how much growth can there be?0 -

But if you're in a deficit, how much new tissue can you reasonably expect regardless of effiort?0 -
