Post something on the message boards looking for new friends with open diaries. My calorie goal is 1200 too, but I usually eat 1400-1700 and burn 400-700. After you try some things you'll find what works for your body and get into a routine. Also, I never go hungry and I eat chocolate everyday. For me personally, no weight loss plan works if there can't be chocolate. Choose more natural foods (fresh fruits and veggies, nuts, lean meats) for the best bang for your buck calorie-wise.0

Your calorie goal should be individualized. You can change it too. I'm 5'1" and 126 pounds, and I do eat as little as 1100 a day to try to lose 5 more pounds. You can view my food diary.0

I'm pescatarian so my food choices may be a little different than what you'd want. Fill in turkey or some lean meat I guess but my diary is open and I usually get around 1200 and feel like I really get to eat a lot! As they say, smaller portions, more meals and I rarely long for more or get too hungy in between.0
