Should I get a hrm AND Fitbit?

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I want something to accurately track my daily movements and exercise. I've been reading up on the 2 and it seems they could be mostly beneficial when used together?!?! I think
The more I read about each of them the more confused I get. I need help!
I want something I can wear all day and will track all my walking and activity so I like the idea of the fitbit but am I correct that it does not get accurate readings for other types of workouts like aerobics or elliptical? I think that's where it would come in handy to have the hrm too, I could where my fitbit all day and just use the hrm during those types of exercises where the fitbit won't work.
All your feedback would be very much appreciated!
Also which models do you like best? Thanks!

That's what I do. The fitbit is probably pretty accurate for most traditional aerobics/cardio, btw.
I just crunched 2 months worth of data comparing my Fitbit estimated TDEE and my actual TDEE (Calories eaten + (weightloss * 3500), and they were only 30 kcal/day different.1 -

I have the Body Media Fit Link....and a Polar heart rate monitor, calories are different. My Heart rate monitor is about 100 calories less than the arm band. I researched the Body media and the over and over again I kept getting information on how accurate it is........90% and gives you great feed back. I use my heart rate monitor to keep track of my heart rate and zone while doing cardio exercises.0
