processed deli turkey

I'm here no processed foods At my deli all meats seemed to be processeed ..I got a turkey sandwich thinking I would loose weight ....Is deli meat ok?

    At my deli, the meats have been cooked and sliced. The deli folks just have the equipment to slice it thinner than I would. Some deli meats are marinated or cured, so if you care about that...

    Deli meats have significantly less sodium than even the low sodium versions of sliced meats in the refrigerated section. If you look, you can usually see a difference in texture. Lunch meats are usually ground up, formed into a loaf and sliced, giving them a very smooth texture. Deli meats like sliced turkey, you can see the muscle fibers. You may even get a bit of gristle! Not what I want to eat, but a good indicator of the level of processing.
