All You Vegans out there, I have a question!

So I have a huge interest in nutrition and based on all of my research, I have found that a vegan diet is probably the most healthy way of eating, plus I am not too big a fan of the taste of meat in genreal, unless it's fish! But, I really want to stick with a vegan diet as much as I can while I try to lose weight but the concern I have is carbs. I know eating an excess of carbs can obviously result in excess fat. If the carbs are all coming from fruits, vegies and grains does it matter how many of them you eat? And if it does, what vegan foods could I eat that are lower in carbs?
Any help is really appreciated!

  • I did vegan keto when I was cutting. I basically lived off of protein powder, flax seeds, cruciferous vegetables, low carb bread, and occasionally some nuts.
  • 1. It's not a diet lol
    2. I was vegetarian for years and switched to being vegan and was just as confused by carbs and fat and protein. I just finished reading Skinny B*tch and there's other books out there but it helped alooooot! I focuse on staying under in fat than carbs Make sure 80% is from fruits anf veggies than 10% from whole grains and I try to eat a good amount of protein. Haha I prelog te day before so I know exactly how much all of it will be. But I highly recommend reading some books I love the skinny b*tch one Cus it gives you a month guide of meals for vegan beginners. :) hope this helps !
