Tricep Discomfort Near Elbow

OK. Need some input here. I went to the gym yesterday to do cardio and leg circuit training. The ONLY pressure, or excercise, I did to my upper body was my typical stretching (downward dog and knee push ups). I also wear an arm band around my right upper arm cuff holding my iPhone so I can rock out to Fit Radio.
I felt a discomfort in my tricep area, where the bad was, and got worse as the night progressed. I took some motrin and rubbed on it and the pain is still there. In fact, it's more towards my elbow and it definitely feels "bigger" than the other one. It hurts to the touch. There is discomfort when I bend my arm as well.
I have no idea how this could be? I did upper body training on Sunday using minimal weights (I am a beginner). I mean, it couldn't be from the radio arm band, could it?
And any tips to help this discomfort. Much appreciated.

Ice it. Sounds like the same pain I have. The doctor calls is tendonitis. She says ice it 3-4 times daily for 15 minutes, then when it's really numb, massage it hard.0

^^^sounds about right to me. As always, if the pain becomes something intense consider seeing a professional0

Ouch I don't have much advice...but I definitely hope it gets better.0

Sounds alot like tendonitis as mentioned above. RICE, rest, ice, compression, elevation, ha. Ease off any exercises involving alot tricep work, etc. It could possibly occur from improper form on exercises or,---I mean, skull crushers, etc, even when performed with good form can destroy elbows (mine included...) or over training on pushing exercises,0
