Inches vs Pounds

I am happy with my progress as I have lost 15 lbs since starting MFP, but find it odd that my measurements have only reduced by an inch. Any thoughts?

    it is all crazy..other people don't lose weight but lose inches. Just keep doing what you're doing the inches will follow.
