I have a rough draft of a paper due tomorrow and it's already midnight and I still haven't started because I'm so lost on what to do.. this is what the assignment reads:


Overview
For this assignment, you will write a 4-5 page paper that makes an argument that answers a specific research question/problem arising from our study of how we learn and what role colleges play in learning. In general, your paper should answer the question, "What should colleges do to ensure the best learning environment for students?" Other general research questions might include the following: Are there alternatives to traditional learning sources that can be effective (such as TV, games, etc.)? What is the impact of extracurricular activities (sports, clubs, etc.) on college life? How important are the social and cultural experiences in college to the overall learning experience? However, you will narrow the focus of your essay by selecting a specific issue or problem, and you will write your own research question for it.

You are writing this paper for presentation at the Future of College Education Conference.

Ok I know this is a lot and probably not anything that anyone can help with.. but if anyone can help explain to me what to do in simpler words or any ideas/suggestions on how to even approach this assignment would be very helpful!

In other words, how can college change or improve to provide the best education & learning environment possible.

So, first identify a problem area, then offer a solution for how to improve it.
