Rest Day Activities

How much activity do you think is appropriate to do on a rest day? I am trying to take one light day a week, where I don't run, lift weights, or do any intense calistenics...but I have a lot of active hobbies like dancing and bike riding (gently on a cruiser). Is it cool to do this stuff on a rest day? I just never seem to have a day where I feel like being a total couch potato, but I wonder how much is too much?
