Using Kettle Bells

Help, this is the first time I have used kettle weights or any type of weightsfor that matter. I am having trouble knowing how to record the calories burned. Does anyone know? Is it the same as weight training as I am trying to do a routine. Your comments and advice on this would be much appriecated.
