    As far as I can tell there is a very wide range of ages! However, if you want to find friends that are your age and gender you can actually put a filter on and search:

    On your home page at the top navigation there will be a tab that says "Community."

    After you click the tab -- directly underneath will be a sub-nav bar that says "Find Members."

    Click there and then fill in your criteria. You can search males from age ..30-50 or whatever age or gender you like.

    I understand wanting to be apart of a support group and family that is closer to your age. I sometimes feel a bit better when my support is primarily from women (not that I mind or care if they're male) I just usually look for females. You're not a creeper for being friends with people younger than you. I'm 26 years old, and would be happy to offer my support if you'd like to add me as a friend.
