BMI CALCULATING

Hey guys....
Yesterday at my gym I had my body fat measured using that little video game controller looking thing. It gave me a BMI of 27. It was post work out, btw, which I'm told affects results marginally.
Last night I plugged in my data using an online BMI calculator and got 25.3. What gives? Which is right?
I'm 5'5" and weigh 152.6
Thanks!!

It seems that the 27 reading at the gym was a bodyfat %, not your BMI. Those little hand held things send a current, and are not really all that reliable. BMI is something entirely different, it uses your height, weight and sex to determine if your weight is appropriate for your height, and can also be unreiable, aprticularly in the very short, very tall and overly muscular.0

Use calipers or measurements for accurate body fat percentage! That little machine you used is typically way off. it send small electrical pulses through your body so a small amount of sweat on your hands or drinking a bottle of water before will raise the body fat percentage the machine will display.0
