The best detox is a tummy rub.

Epsom salt just gives me the heebie jeebies after my husband had to soak in it religiously when he got a MRSA infection. But, the link I provided might be helpful. Good for skin and muscles...only way it "detoxifies" you is by drinking it...and the results of that don't sound too pretty. Plus, laxatives shouldn't be used unless you are constipated.0 -

What toxins, exactly, do you think you are carrying around?0

Eesh. It's a body organ, not a slide.
LOL the mental images of that xD0 -
So far, I totally agree with the people who say that, with functioning organs and with a working colon - combined with enough dietary fiber and plenty of old fashioned water, you are detoxifying yourself naturally every time you use the toilet.
I like a little Epsom salt in my bath because it helps my achy muscles. I don't add baking soda, as my water is not acidic. Be careful if you have any kidney function issues, etc. as eliminating excess salt in any form is hard to do with poorly functioning kidneys.
Baking soda used to be used as an antacid. But with the very high amount of sodium in it, almost any antacid is better for you than baking soda.
As far as drinking Epsom salt, it's a harsh laxative. You're better off drinking magnesium citrate. And you only do that if advised by your doctor. Both require you to be near a toilet, as the effects are uncontrollable - and VERY messy.
Personally, a little more fiber and an extra glass of water is what I would do.0 -
I tried a detox bath. Didn't work. I'm still addicted to angel dust.

I think you've been in one too many of these threads today my friend.
But.....it's every thread. Every thread. Unless I want to rate someones bangability factor. Bangability is a real word.
Yeah. Today is detox day. It's a repetitive topic for sure, but today it has come up a lot more than "normal"0 -
I put epsom salts and/or baking soda in the bathtub sometimes.0
