Grilled foods with black beans, not refried, and sautéed vegetables are about as good as I can get at my local Mexican place. I go for shrimp, and try not to eat the entire bowl of chips. Most times I do pretty good.0

Stay away from chips and tortillas...get a mexican plate instead of a burrito, for example. Avoid sour cream, try to get lowfat greek yogurt instead (although they usually won't have that)...don't get cheese, etc. Also at some places you can pay extra to get white meat chicken vs dark meat.0

Taco salad with chicken or fajita veggies and no cheese/sour cream. Grilled chicken with veggies.. red sauce istead of queso.. corn over flour tacos..rice over refried beans... lots of little choices to make things healthier its all about moderation, not getting the deep fried items and TRYING to keep out of the chips as much as possible.0
