So I was thinking about making a stirfry tonight and I was going to use rice noodles and but they are somewhat hight in calories. I didn't end up getting stirfry ingredients, but I am thinking that next time I go to the store that I am going to try tofu, but I am not sure how to cook it. Last time I had it I thought it was quite mooshy so I am thinking that I might try the firm tofu. Does anyone have any favorite tofu recipes?

Tofu is amazing.
I saw this the other day and am going to try it out this week!

Also, I always get extra firm because of the mushy factor.
I made this buffalo tofu a few weeks ago and it was oh so good.
Here is a recipe:

Might want to lower the butter, though. 0 -

Commented on the homepage too, but here is what I said:
I wish I had some recipes, but unfortunately we just do a lot of dishes/meal (4-5) for dinner, and they are usually some variation of stir fry. I use thick soy sauces, black beans sauces, sesame oil, but never actual frying oil. I try to be careful with those sauces since they are way high in sodium. But you can bake firm tofu in the oven with barbeque sauce (low calorie) yum!!! I make everything up as I cook. It makes tracking more work, but the meals are always fresh and yummy!!
Typical meal (usually dinner includes all of these):1 dish: miso soup, firm tofu, and seaweed. 2: mushrooms (protein) and some root veggie (Carrot, beets, cauliflower, broccoli, etc), 3: tofu dish 4: leafy green 5: less green but still leafy.
Haven't been doing this format much lately because we have been trying to get things taken care of with our business, but that is the typical formula. (it doesn't show this way when you enter everything randomly on MFP) haha
You can also blend the tofu in smoothies as an alternative to protein powder.
Marinade then Pan fry (without oil) and make on a sandwich, or put in soup, or just eat and enjoy!!
Hope these help0 -

I love adding mine to asian soups. It's fantastic.
I've also had a lot of success with stirfries and recently found a recipe for jerk tofu I am planning to try.
