A trick to this is setting your activity level on MPF to the correct level, even then it's still not perfect. I find that when I first come home from work and exercise I have like 700-1000 calories left for dinner. I'm really active at work, but once I get home, after I work out my activity slows down....so I really only need to eat about 600 of those calories. Fitbit will start to take the calories away from MFP as I'm not as active.

I like to give myself a buffer of about 100 calories on MFP....I just try to not net below my BMR.

Also make sure you goal on Fitbit and your goal on MPF match up.

Make sure you set your MFP to Sedentary. Your fitbit will determine your calories and adjust accordingly. So if you have a busy day walking --your calories are adjusted and you have more to work with. But lets say you have a lazy couch day, then your calories will also reflect those days too and will stay lower. So, the more you move, the more calories you get.
