What exactly does bump mean, how does it show up in my posts and how do I do it? Do I just hit reply and type in bump or do I have to do something else?
Thanks

when people post a message saying "bump" they are making their topic appear at the top of the forum, as the topics are listed in descending order from the one that was last replied to.
So if you post a topic and dont get any replies, you can bump it after a few minutes to get it back on the front page so hopefully anyone who missed it can see it again.0 -

Bumping a thread does two things: brings it to the top of the list of threads in each foum topic ("bumping" it to the top), and it will appear under the "my topics" tab on the forums. Writing "bump" is used when you have nothing to contribute to a thread but either want to have it in your "my topics" tabs so you can read (or re-read) it later, or for visibility so others can see the thread.0
