I've been weighing myself daily sice Jan 14th, to moniter body fat percentage and water levels, and for the last 2-3 weeks, my body fat has been 52-53%, water levels anything from 31.9 to today's figure, my highest at 32.8% (I am working on this as its really low), but today, I weighed myself, I had lost a lb, but its not my official weigh in day, so not bothered with that, but my body fat % has shot up to 55.9%... my highest since before I started this diet and excercise plan, and its upset me a bit, and I don't understand why the sudden jump, i've been doing at least 30 mins excercise a day now to try and shift more weight, the only thing different was I still had 600 calories left at the end of the evening after excercise and dinner. Any answers at all please guys?

Scales are notoriously bad at measuring body fat%. Get yourself a set of calipers and learn to use them. They aren't 100% accurate either, but you'll get a better read for sure.

Yeah. Or you can even go by the mirror. Body fat doesn't spike. It changes gradually over time.

Thanks guys, was really worried about it, I was doing a lot of work on the rowing machine, but last couple of weeks have alternated to other excercises to keep toning and try ans get a loss spurt again, but body wise, I have toned and dropped a dress size, so that's not the issue. I'll take what the scales say with a pinch of salt next time :)
