Having trouble finding time to workout..

It seems right now my life is just crazy busy. Mondays I work from 7 AM - 10 PM and all the other days of the week I work from 7 until 7:30. (I work 8 hours a day as a nanny and the rest of the time I teach music lessons or perform)
I am seriously committed to a healthy lifestyle ( I eat clean every day I am in decent shape) but I want to succeed at losing 20 pounds. Does anyone have advice on how I can get SOMETHING in ?
I don't have any kids but I feel I need atleast sometime during the long days to give to my new husband.:ohwell:

You don't need to exercise at all to lose weight so dont worry about it too much. You could lose weight if you sat in a chair all day.

You just need to stick to eating a deficit. If you're taking in less than you expend in a day you'll be losing.

This doesn't mean you need to be eating clean either (though you'll feel better) it just means meet your net goal. All food is fuel for your body, doesn't matter what it is, just that some are more nutritional than others.

It sounds like your already have an active lifestyle, if you have any time at the weekend do an activity you enjoy. But don't sweat it if you dont have the time, and don't do it if you're doing it to just lose weight. Don't think exercising == losing weight.

Think "exercise" is just to improve muscles and look good naked, "losing weight" is all about eating a deficit of your TDEE.

    Hi!
So... I agree with PP, that most of your loss will come from eating at a deficit. Twenty pounds, while it may seem like alot, really isn't all that much to lose. Stick with setting your loss at 1/2 to 1 lb a week, and see if that works.
How old is (are) the child(ren) you nanny for? Can you pop the kidle(s)t in a stroller and go for a long walk on a hilly route? Can you play kickball with the kid(s)? What activity can you do within your job that would help you exercise a bit?
  • Can you find 30-45 minutes three times a week? That's all you really need to do a basic strength based program. Just go and do squats, dead lifts, rows, bench, OHP, and pull ups.

Park out on the edge of the parking lot. Take the stairs. I walk to Leslie Sansone while I watch tv.
