Stuck on W8D2 of C25k, please help :)

I seem to be stuck on this week. I have done this 3x now and have a problem running for the entire 28 minutes. I am stopping for a minute or two to walk then get back to running. I want to continue running straight like was before this 8th week.. I was so loyal to the C25K program since I started it in January but since joining the Y 3 weeks ago I have discovered the Elliptical, using the bike, and going to try swimming. I don't want to lose sight of my first dream in 2013 of doing a 5k.

    Ok this is no expert advice... I had the same problem in December. I found that walking a few minutes helps bring my heart rate down and then I can finish. Obviously the goal is to run straight through. One option is to try running it slower. Another option would be to look at the c210k program - I believe I saw 4 times of running 8-10 minutes with a minute of walking I between. That may also work to build up the endurance to complete a 5k?
