We are going to Mexico - Wooo hooo!!! I am so excited but........

Need some suggestions on food & drink while we are there. I know it's pretty easy to find good for you food... it's actually the cocktail part I'm worried about...

Wine there is pretty expensive.... any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There should be lots of salads with fresh stuff like pico de gallo, and avacodo (sometimes the gaucamole will have sour cream added so just be careful - and it tends to be high in calories too). You can always go for the grilled meats and veggies too.

We ate our way through Mexico, so I know it can be trouble (everything is so delicious, and fresh, and fried).... oh... tortillas, black beans,

As for drinks, vodka is one of the lowest calorie spirits - I think most of the clear alcohols are good - just avoid the high sugar ones, like the darker rums. You can always use diet coke as a mix too! Vodka & cranberry is great, and you could also do vodka, cran, and pineapple juice, and thin it out with some lime juice and soda water.... hey wait... what about Coronas? They are light...

We usually hit the bottled water hard, and don't you find the heat reduces your appetite?

    But really, JUST ENJOY YOURSELF!!!
