C25K (Zen Labs) - Calories Help!??

Just completed Week 1 Day 1 of C2K5 anybody have any idea of calories burned. I'm a male so I'm thinking around 220?
Any help would be great. The app I have didn't tell me calories burned.

    Without a HRM the easiest is to calculate how much you walked and how much you ran and log each separately.

    I'm doing the C210K program by the same developers, and I just log it in my exercise log as mod walking and jogging slow pace for the time for each interval. It's not perfect, but it's as good as I could figure out!

    I'm on week one as well (actually, im repeating week one). My treadmill says that I'm burning about 160 calories for the 30 minute. It's ranged from 147 to 169 as my speed has gotten faster. I go with that figure. I do the walking segments at a 4 mph pace. However, if I log the entire workout as "walking at 4.0 pace" mfp says I'm burning a lot more than that. I choose to use the lower number.

    I used to log the walking and the jogging seperately. You do need to know about how fast you were going. If you have a smart phone you can download free GPS apps, Endomondo, which do give calories burned but they include your BMR calories too so the numbers are high.

    Cool. Thanks 4 heads up. I'll have to consider getting a HRM soon then.
