Looking for others in a similar situation

Hi everyone, I am a new member looking for motivation and support on my journey to a healthier lifestyle. Here are my current stats:

23 yr old female
171 lbs
5'2"
size 10/12

I haven't taken my measurements yet but I am an apple shape carrying most of my weight up top (lovehandles, arms, face).
I am exclusively breastfeeding my four month old, and looking to kick PCOS and insulin resistance to the curb. My goal weight for now is 135 lbs which is the high end of my normal bmi. I am looking not only to lose weight, but also become healthier. I try to avoid processed foods and stick to whole foods in my everyday diet, but I haven't been successful at completely eliminating sugar and grains.
