Hey kind and non judgmental MFP community!!!
I am discouraged....pissed.....frustrated...
I have successfully lost 30lbs and for some reason the stinkin scale has stalled out and I haven't lost a thing in three months. I have added s. training and all sorts of crunches three times a week to my day, and I fear that I am starting to slip up on the eating... Now Im not perfect and I don't' want to give up eating "normal foods" because after the weight is gone.. I will want to eat those foods and I don't want to binge.. I know myself.
anyways, how did you do it?
How did you lose those last annoying stupid stinkin lbs??!!
I have lowered my calories very low and moved more and eaten my exercise cals. for three months to no avail.. should I change my goal to lose 1/2 lb per week and just eat?
Idk.. something's has got to give!
thank you in advance for your support and help.

I was stalled for a few months so I upped my exercise like you but I cut out most sugar except an occasional dessert and of course I still eat my fruit. I took a look at your diary and perhaps also cutting out the processed foods as they're filled with salt might help.
I also eat tons of veggies. These changes have enabled me to get off my plateau and bring me almost to my goal. I'm at 126 and have only one more pound to go.0 -
I have lowered my calories very low
In the most non-judgemental way possible of asking: how low is "very low"?0 -
as a result of being frustrated, I have adopted crappy eating habits I know no one is perfect.
I feel like Im just giving up.. I don't want to.. but I don't think I can eliminate or cut out foods without a major binge involved... just to be transparent.
I have lowered to 1200 calories and if I wanted to eat more for that day I would bust my butt working out.0 -
Hi Mom!!! It may be time to take a close hard look at portion sizes....they have a way of creeping back up, and calories sneak in. Carry a deck of cards....compare. I've had plateaus, and that usually means it's time to really shake up my routine. You have come such a long way....look at how far you've come. You can do this!0

Congrats on your success I wish I could have such discipline.. I really need to incorporate whole foods again... I know its the "right" thing to do and is effective.. why is it so hard to get passed the mental road block that says " if you cut out those foods you will binge!" ?? its insanity! but I feel you are right. thank you for your input0 -

How about making changes little by little and then see if you see results? Sometimes we have to play these little mind games with ourselves. See if you can have a whole foods day every other day. That way your next treat or whatever is only a day away. Obviously if things aren't working as they are something has to change. Unless you can accept things the way they are.0 -
I plateaued right before Thanksgiving...I upped my calories (it was a really hard decision for me) from 1200 to 1460 (2 pounds/week to 1 pound/week) about 5 weeks ago. The scale has started moving again. All that TDEE crap everyone spouts on here actually works.
My fitbit tells me my Total Daily expenditure is 2184. If I subtract 20% (436) I get 1748. MFP give me 1460 BEFORE exercise. On days that I am active, I usually eat up to the 1748 or more depending on how active I am. On lazy days, I don't (I have MFP set to negative adjustments and to sync with my fitbit). Either way, now that I know the system, I am seeing weight loss and less inches. If you don't have some sort of activity tracker I would get one. Im betting you are way off on your calorie in take. Somewhere on this site there are instructions on how to figure out your TDEE, but I personally need my fitbit to tell me I have burned enough to eat that amount of food.0
