Hi guys, gonna weigh in tomorrow and really nervous. Every time I start a diet and don't lose weight I give up and fall off the wagon. Anyone else get like this? X

Why not skip the weigh in if a bad result makes you quit? The scale depends on so many things, measure yourself instead?0

Well its time you do something different.
Question: How long have you been following the current diet?
From personal experience I can tell you, that when I was trying to gain weight I was eating like crazy amounts of food.
All healthy of course and guess what it took me 3 MONTHS! To gain weight, yeah I got on the scale every 3 weeks to see
if anything was happening. Nothing scaled stayed the same for 2 in a half months but on that third month something happened.
So just stick with it, look at the number you see on the scale and make a decision that you WILL
drop that number by 1. Yes thats right just 1.
So if the scale says 200 pounds, make a decision to make it say 199 pounds the next time you get on it.
Yeah its a small number, I know that but if you really give you all, 1000% then I'm sure you will start seeing
the numbers on the scale decrease.
Hope that helps

I just wrote a blog about weigh-in anxiety. Just the fear of not losing, despite having done everything I've done the weeks before and lost weight. I think it's fear of failure wrapped up in not being used to seeing the numbers on the scale go down - but they keep going down and staying down.0
