Does anyone know if there is a way to calculate how many calories are in one serving of a certain recipe?

Thanks!

Calculate total calories in the recipe and divide by how many servings there are.

Under the Food tab here on MFP, over to the right, you'll see Recipes. You can enter your recipe item by item, picking from the database, and it'll calculate nutrition per serving for you and save it in your Recipes. Then you can just add it a serving at a time to your food diary.

add the recipe in here (input all the ingredients) and when you put in the portion quantities it will tell you how much is in each serving

If you create a recipe, add all your ingredients and how many servings on your main page and it will tell you the calories and nutrients.
  • If you are using products with bar codes use the app and scan them into the recipe and then use your pc to do your searches and add those products.

Yes--type the recipe in--every ingredient and the number of servings. MFP does the calculations for you!! Easy, easy.

The recipe option in this app is truly one of my favorite options. And it works. I have a lot of recipes that I've modified over the years to suit my taste or to make healthier and now I really can calculate exactly how many calories they are now.

If it's a homemade recipe, than you can input it in the Recipes section that you can find in by clicking on the food tab. After inputting all the ingredients and measurements, it will give you a total recipe amount and a total servings amount.
