So tomorrow is my baby sisters 21st birthday! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: sooo there will be dinner and OBVIOUSLY drinks involved which means that there is no way of avoiding it..I'm going to be going wayyyyyyyyy over my calories. Im afraid its going to ruin my hardwork. I have done soooo good this week. I havent cheated once. I have a new mentality of if that food isnt going to do anything nutriously healthy for my body..then i prob just shouldnt have it. And I'm going to the gym tomorrow morning againe before work. But I know there is no way of avoiding it.

It's fine! Enjoy the celebration! Tomorrow is my birthday too, so I'll be doing the same:drinker: The important thing is that the bad days are WAY less than the good days!! Also, if you NEVER ate anything bad for you you'd probably eventually over indulge in the "forbidden" foods.... have fun lady!

If you're planning to drink, try to stick to low calorie drinks. My favorite is rum and diet coke at 65 calories for a drink. I've also heard vodka and tonic or vodka and soda water mentioned (I personally don't like them much). Also if you want something fruity, Appletini's are around 120 calories I believe. Or stick to light beer (about 100 calories a bottle). There are definitely ways to drink and avoid downing hundreds of calories. That was one of the biggest changes that I've had to make. I just graduated college, so I was used to a few Long Island Iced Teas in a night (as much as 700 calories EACH!!!). You can do it! Just aim for the low calories drinks and have a great time celebrating!

Tonic water has just as many calories as regular Soda. Stick to diet Soda mixes or light beers.. if you can!

Drink a glass of water between every alcoholic beverage, This will help keep you full, hydrated, and help you get back to your routine the next day. Don't overlook that if you get wasted tonight, you may likely be a waste tomorrow.

One day of indulging yourself shouldnt be too bad, and you state that you plan to work out early in the day...just put a bit more energy and maybe a little longer time in your workout

Drink lots of water throughout the day..... drinking lots of water helps flush out the excess sodium from your body and try and get a few water in while at the party

And you know what the next day just go back to your healthy eating habits and you will be just as good

Enjoy your sisters party have fun
  • steer away from the malt beverages.. i had a parrot bay sunset malt beverage the other day and realized after the fact it was 240 calories for one bottle.. ughh..
