Self control when your office feeds you junk

My job is killing me softly...lol, not really. It's just really hard to avoid junk when all your co-workers are eating junk. How woud you manage self control? I always bring my own foods from home, but every so often there would be mini office parties and the only people who participate bring poison (or junk food in this case).

    Most sweets are kept in the break room in my office. I'm only in there when I'm making my cereal or filling up my coffee cup.

    Unless somebody puts them on my desk (which would result in physical injury for that person, most likely), I don't have any issues not partaking.
  • Well, keep bringing your foods from home and maybe once in a while eat just ONE cookie or sweet treat. It's not going to kill your weight loss if you enjoy yourself once every so often. :) Just make sure not to eat the whole plate!

    I don't really have a sweet tooth unless it's ice cream or apple pie. Cookies don't do it for me at all, so there's really no reason for me to eat them, as it's just empty calories.

    If I'm going to eat something high in calories, it's going to be something I really want.
