Hi all,
I can't be the only one with a SO who won't eat the same things I do. He doesn't like vegetables or fruit unless it's corn, fresh green beans, or watermelon. He doesn't eat mushrooms, peas, broccoli, or anything like that. We do eat chicken and fish, but I am SO sick of corn, and while I like potatoes and rice...it's too much!

Who else has this frustration?

I used to have this problem and found that there were ways my husband would eat veggies and ways he wouldn't. I have learned that he will eat a salad if it has buffalo chicken and buttermilk ranch dressing on it. More fat than I need, but I can modify mine to have a different dressing and less chicken. I find it is ok not that my husband is willing to try new things. However, he is still not keen on a lot of the vegetarian things I eat, so I do end up having some serperation.

I understand and it takes a learning curve to find a comfy medium.

Everyone I think has this problem...not everyone in the house likes the same stuff.

Try buying a little of everything, so not to over extend your budget and on different days shake it up a bit, so you get a little of what you like and so does he.

    Goodluck

I must be a mean one...LOL! In my house, it is you eat what I make or you fend for yourself. Thankfully though, both my husband and daughter will try anything and are on the healthy mindset with me.
