Its only when your too close to the edge that sometimes you are given the opporunity to step back.
Following my heart attack last october, the fickle finger of fate was jabbed hard at me by the cardio surgeon.
I have now lost 13.5Kg (30lbs), with 12Kgs (25lbs) to go.
I can run short/medium distances now, something I have not done for many years, and I recover more quickly. Last week my Cardiologist informed me that my heart rate and blood pressures is normal for a 30 yo male, but i am 59yo. Looks like that marathon fun run next year will happen.
MFP gives me the motivation that I once lacked and now I find every day a true enjoyment to share with friends as we joke and laugh and share life.
