A question for those who work afternoons.

I have a question for anyone who works afternoons. I've been on days for the last 3-4 years of my life and just switch to afternoons, working 12pm until whenever we are done. I did it to make more money and relieve some work stress. Which is working. My issue is that I work 5 days a week and who knows when we are done, sometimes its 7/8 pm. So a nice 8 hour shift, sometimes we aren't done until 12/1 am. I usually work at least 10 hrs for 4 of the 5 shifts a week. I can't seem to get any sort of sleep schedule. I can sleep as soon as I get home, I don't have an issue with getting to sleep, but I wake up exhausted, I set my alarm for 8 hrs after I hit the bed and it doesn't matter if I sleep for 5 hrs of 10 hrs. I'm exhausted on afternoons. So my question is, if you work afternoons, how do you adjust? when do you eat? and how do you maintain a sleep schedule? I was doing so good when I was on days working out. And my eating habits are still good working on afternoons. But I always feel so tired.
